To Win, Plan Ahead of Everyone Else

In Plan Ahead of Everyone Else, It’s critical to ask yourself these questions on a regular basis. Doing so will help you figure out what you want out of life. Family and business should always be regarded in tandem.

So, let’s look at why all of these questions might help you figure out what it is in life and how it will effect you for the rest of your life…

1) Do you plan ahead of time on a regular basis?

Come on, be honest, do you genuinely sit down every day and make an effort to plan out your future? NO? What’s to stop you? Isn’t it a non-issue for you?

Planning to fail is the same as failing to plan!

Daily planning may appear to be a lot of work at first, but once it becomes a habit, it becomes second nature.

Study shows that it takes an average of 21 times for something to become a habit. For example, once you’ve driven your car 21 times +/- it becomes 2nd nature to you. Your sub-conscious mind takes over and drives for you

The captain of your ship is your “conscious mind” (the brain). Nothing will get done unless you consciously issue a direct command to your “sub-conscious” (the crew). For the next 21 days, you must be rigorous with the workers to ensure that they perform their jobs on a daily basis. After some time, the crew will memorize their own tasks and carry them out for you.

Planning out each day will help your “Crew” understand what they are expected to do. It helps you to unite your thoughts. This unity will serve as a stepping stone to achieving your objectives.

2) Is everything you desired included in your plans?

When I say “everything,” I really mean it. I have an unique notepad that I keep on my desk all the time. It contains a plethora of ideas for everything I’d ever wanted at the time.

At that very moment, I meant whatever it was in my life “at that precise instant” that would make me happy. It makes no difference what it is. What do you think would make you happy right now? Is there a nicer car? Have you got $5,000 in your bank account? More customers? Improved search engine rankings?

Writing down exactly what you desire will create a “TO DO LIST” in your head. Your sub-conscious will explore your memory banks for an example of how to complete your “to do list” after your mind has its “TO DO LIST.” If your mind is unable to discover anything in your memory banks, it will begin to spit out thoughts and suggestions for your conscious mind to finish.

I should also mention that when it comes to your thoughts, writing things down is like engraving it right into stone. It’s as if your mind is a piece of paper, and you need to write something down so that it may return later and modify what you wrote down.

3) Do you make long-term plans for your business and family?

Why wouldn’t you, right? When I think about my company, I consider what it can do in the future for me, my friends, and my family. I’m not married and don’t have any children right now, but that doesn’t mean I’m not thinking about starting a family in the future.

Always keep business and family in mind. They are a part of both your past and future.

4) Do you see your strategy coming to fruition?

The fruit of success is visualization.

Do you ever see yourself driving the car you’ve always wanted? Who imagines you and your family relaxing on a beach in Mexico? Who do you think will receive the “entrepreneur of the year” award? YOU ARE THE ONE!

In order to be happy and more successful, you must improve, improve, improve. I’ll say it again: you need to improve.

Visualization should be done on a regular basis. Every day, for at least 30 seconds, envision all of the sights, sounds, smells, and feelings associated with your daily plans.

Assume you have a presentation to give and, like most individuals who have given a presentation, you are really scared.

Take a few moments approximately an hour before the presentation to think about it. Imagine yourself feeling terrific, confident, and relaxed as you walk into the meeting. Hear people laughing and smiling, and notice how they are paying attention to you. When you enter the room, try to smell a pleasant scent that makes you smile. Finally, after the presentation, notice how everyone surrounding you congratulates you on a job well done. Imagine yourself sipping a cup of hot, creamy coffee while discussing your great presentation with your employer, coworkers, or even future clients.

I guarantee that if you make it a habit of visualizing yourself in that manner before any presentation, you will feel better and more lively afterwards.

The same method can be used to achieve your objectives. You must imagine yourself driving that car, feeling the wind in your hair and hearing the motor. Use anything that comes to mind that will allow your thoughts to wander to your goals and desires.

5)  How far ahead of time do you plan?

This is, without a doubt, the most crucial. The most significant mainly because it relates to all of the previous questions I’ve discussed.

What’s the most you’ve ever planned ahead of time? I’m willing to wager that it isn’t far enough. Dare to be brave, and stand firm in your beliefs. Don’t be scared to think beyond the box when it comes to your ideas.
