And double and triple soaking is wise here, because no one pays much. You can earn pennies back for the best dollars – just like the money you get back with a rewards credit card.

Pre-approval

It is worth noting that many companies operating in this area need some form of approval. These companies ask you to shop through their website or go online and “unlock” or “claim” rewards before making a purchase.

However, sites that require prior approval to receive rewards, including Rakuten, Ibotta and MyPoints, are useless to those who have already completed their purchase. And because of this, we only focus on sites that will pay you to share your bills afterwards.

You must upload receipts within 14 days of purchase. However, you cannot upload more than 35 receipts in seven days. The number of points you earn for a receipt will vary depending on the store, what you bought and how much you spent. But you get at least 25 points for income.

How many points is it? About a tenth of a cent. So if you record 35 receipts a week, but get at least 25 points for each, your recording will be 875 points, or about 87 cents.

Of course, many receipts earn more than the minimum number of points, so collecting rewards here can be faster if you are an avid shopper.

And you can earn extra points if you buy something from a participating brand, complete special offers and recommend to friends. Payments are made with gift cards from the seller of your choice.

Receipt Hog

Receipt Hog provides “coins” for sharing receipts where you buy and what you buy. You can earn bonus rewards by linking your Receipt Hog account to your Amazon account and primary email address, as well as other activities such as online surveys.

How many coins will you earn for each of these activities?

The number of coins you receive will depend on how much you spend. You can earn five coins for receipts for less than $ 10 and up to 20 coins for receipts that show you have spent $ 100 or more. Each receipt also allows you to enter a raffle where you can win up to 5,000 coins.

But each coin costs only about half a cent, so taking the $ 5 you need to exchange will take some time.

ReceiptPal

ReceiptPal is a market research company that pays you – even with gift cards – to present receipts that show what you bought, when and where. The payment formula on the website is quite complicated.

But the summary version is you get “scorecards” that you fill out by uploading receipts. Each receipt is worth 25 points. You can collect almost 500 points per week.

Looks like you need 370 to 450 points to win $ 1.

Rewards are less than a $ 5 gift and you need at least 2,200 points to earn it. But if you let points accumulate more, you get a much better offer on high value cards.
